ASP® 420V
ASP® 420V powder manufactured grade combines high wear resistance, from the high V and C content, with corrosion resistance from the high Cr content. Thanks to the high cleanliness obtained with the ASP® process, high toughness, chipping resistance, polishability and corrosion resistance are obtained.

Characteristics
ASP® 420V can be PVD coated. If nitriding is used, a thin diffusion layer should be used and a white combination layer should be avoided. Nitriding increases resistance to abrasive wear but can also reduce corrosion resistance.
